Hailing from the contemporary art hotbed of Shoreditch, Szabotage moved to Hong Kong to depict his vision of this unique 21st century city. Szabotage assaults your senses by spraying layers of paint to deconstruct the fabric of this cultural melting pot. Concrete, paint and ink collide in vivid three-dimensional form to represent a street based art that fuses East and West.

Since the artist’s arrival in Asia five years ago, he has been inspired by Hong Kong's iconic style of urban architecture and emotive streetscapes. His work and subjects are a mix of popular culture and a vivid use of bold colours, exploring themes of personal freedom and a humorous play on words. His renowned Koi Fish graffiti tag celebrates a defiance of authority. It is a symbol of revelation and empowerment, which came about after been told he could not paint Koi’s. Subsequently, Szabotage retaliated and began painting them everywhere resulting in them becoming his signature. A former East London resident, Szabotage’s credits include a sold-out exhibition in London and two successful solo shows in Hong Kong. Szabotage has painted for HKwalls street art festival and was a finalist in the global phenomenon 'Secret Walls,' where he became notorious for his old-school graffiti style and onstage antics. Szabotage’s art is created on a variety of spaces including canvas, floors, interiors, cars, motorbikes, sculptures and buildings.
